Micheal Ignatieff the heir apparent to Paul Martin

I just finished reading a book titled "A Warriors Honor" by Michael Ignatieff. I have to agree with his distracters that his views are contradictory and not coherent especially with respect Human Rights, Nationalism and Ethnic Conflict. He was parachuted into the Toronto riding by the Liberal Party. He has no real political connections in the Liberal Party. He has no real connections of any kind with Toronto or for that matter Canada. All what he has accomplished so far is to write a few books including one on Isiah Berlin (who cares) and get his name on TV and News Papers as a Harvard Professor cum commentator who knows "something" about the messy politics of ethnicities, nationalism and human right issues. After reading his book, I came out not liking him more than when I found out that he was parachuted into Toronto by Paul Martin's Liberal. I hope he looses his seat, but Torontonians including all the hyphenated variety against whom Michael seem to have visceral hatred might blindly vote for a Liberal candidate without knowing his real personality and the reasons for being attracted to politics at this juncture in his career.
